Wow this was a hard but fun 13 miles of walking. The walk consisted of a lot of singing and getting to know each other, 2 ice cream stops (well one was a toilet stop but there was also a shop so a few of us decided to make the most of it and buy an ice cream while we were there). The other ice cream stop was an ice cream van on one of the interlinking roads, I think everyone had on that time :) was very refreshing, we were all quite hot from the miles of walking then. The weather held up quite well with the occasional threat of rain and even a light shower if I remember correctly. All the 'young people' found that playing following the leader in what we can only assume was either a water or sewage pipe was a great way to pass the time and resulted in us practicing our risk assessment skills . We finally reached the station that signalled the end of the 13miles (I think it was Hooton) had some prayer-time an then went our separate ways some limping more than others. Overall was a fab day and a good fundraiser.
