This is a general overview of the main events during each day. The team will have a worship session together each night and will have a rest period as a team mostly each day.
Tues 5th Aug: Flight to Nassau.
Meet team hosts at local church
Wed 6th Aug: Tour of House of Parliament.
Thurs 7th Aug: Thrift shop-local charity shop where the team will be helping .
Fri 8th Aug: Behind the scenes of Tourist Resort (either Cable Beach or Paradise Island).
Get together with local youths. Planning joint Children and Youth Circuit Worship for following week.
Sat 9th Aug: Relaxed tourist day. Ideas include Straw Market, Slavery Museum, Pirate Museum, Bay Street.
Sun 10th Aug: Divide into 3 groups (1 leader per group) got to local churches with families and local youths.
Taize service at Heritage of Redeeming Love.
Mon 11th Aug: All Saints HIV/AIDs Camp. Scrub clearing, remedial house maintenance, cook house, visiting with local youths.
AIDs Secretariat Briefing and AIDs hospital visit.
Tues 12th Aug: All Saints HIV/AIDs Camp. Scrub clearing, remedial house maintenance, cook house, visiting with local youths.
Wed 13th Aug: Day trip to North Eleuthera on Bahamas Fast Ferry. Historical/Cultural trip with local youths.
Thurs 14th Aug: All Saints HIV/AIDs Camp. Scrub clearing, remedial house maintenance, cook house, visiting.
Fri 15th Aug: All Saints HIV/AIDs Camp. Scrub clearing, remedial house maintenance, cook house, visiting.
Youth Service.
Sat 16th Aug: 8am:Bahamas Fast Ferry to Andros.
10am: Arrive Andros, Transport to home stays.
Lunch as team at Sister Angie's restaurant 'The Poop Deck'
Sun 17th Aug: Divide into two groups and go to Mastic Point and Nicholl's town churches.
12-4pm rest as team, possibilities include local beaches.
Evening: attend local churches
Mon 18th Aug: Scrub clearance, house clearance & possible painting at homes of elderly people in the community.
6-8pm Run Vacation Bible School for local children (with local youths)
Tues 19th Aug: Scrub clearance, house clearance & possible painting at homes of elderly people in the community.

Wed 20th Aug: Day of rest as team

Fri 22nd Aug:Tour of Island and visit to Androsia (local cottage industry producing printed fabrics)
Sat 23rd Aug: Planning and rehearsing Youth Sunday service.
Night Crabbing in bush with local youths.
Sun 24th Aug: Divide into two groups and attend local churches.
Youth Sunday-team to lead worship (evening)
Mon 25th Aug: Craft Session-learning local weaving techniques.
Evening of fun and games with local youths
Tues 26th Aug:Flight to Grand Bahama. Arrive Freeport and travel to home stays.

Wed 27th Aug: God's Pantry-packing food parcels at church.
Delivering God's Pantry Food Parcels to recipients
Thurs 28th Aug: Planning service for Local elderly peoples home.
Hair braiding session with local youths (evening)
Fri 29th Aug: Service at Old People's Home.
Fund raising cook out with local youths.
Sat 30th Aug: Planning and rehearsal for circuit service at church.
Chores at homes of Elderly people in the community.
Craft work and Straw work with Dorothy
Sun 31st Aug: Divide into 3 groups. Join different local churches for morning worship.
Team to lead Circuit Service in evening.
Mon 1st Sept: Flight to Nassau, New Providence. Transport to hotel.
Farewell meal with local youths.
Tues 2nd Sept: Last minute souvenir shopping and fun day.
Travel to airport. 9.35pm flight Nassau to Heathrow (8 hours)
Wed 3rd Sept: Arrive Heathrow at 11.05am (local time). Team worship session.
12.55pm Heathrow to Manchester.
14.15pm Arrive Manchester and part ways.

Prayer Requests
- We give thanks for our marvellous hosts here in Grand Bahama and for Timothy our main minibus driver. Please pray for the teachers, Principal and children of St Paul's Methodist College as they prepare for the return to scholl next week. Please pray for the Old Folks at the Home we will visit tomorrow. PLease also pray for our preparations for the Sunday services.
- We give thanks for the hospitality and love that we have been given here in Andros. We give thanks for our generous home stay hosts and families. We pray a special blessing on all those we have touched in our time here, especially Sister Verne and family, Donna & Mary, the children at the Vacation Bible School, the young people of Andros, Revs Mark & Stacia, Sister Terese, Mary & Rose who ran craft lessons for us and especially Johnte. We give thanks for the good GCSE results for Katy, Caitlin and Rae and pray for Tim & Chris who have decided to wait for their results until they get home. We pray for our last day in Andros and for travelling mercies as we fly to Grand Bahama.
- Please pray for all those who are receiving their GCSE results today -which is about half the team!, and those who are back home who are also getting the results today. Pray that whatever results the team receive they are content with their performance and that Gods Spirit is with them in whatever their response. We also ask that you pray for those back home who could not come with us. We pray that they are content with their decision and pray that God is with them through the tough times and through thier day to day lives.
- Please pray for Sister Verne Duvalier and her grand children. Please also pray for our outreach work. And the Vacation Bible School that many children come and hear the word of God. We give thanks for the opportunities for outreach and our brilliant homestays and the huge welcome from the local people. We also ask for prayer for storm Fay, pray it doesn't turn into a hurricane, we pray for the people in Florida and Miami who will probably be affected. We also pray for the families of those killed in a bus crash in Haiti. We give thanks that the tropical storm is not affecting the Islands we are on. Please hold the team in your prayers as some are still homesick and feeling slightly tired. We ask you pray for the holy spirit to come and sustain us through the tiredness and the heat.
- A Prayer used at this mornings worship - God of Love, we have come here tody for a family reunion! We know that we are sisters and brothers in Christ. Each of us is your precious child. And yet there is division in this family. There is sibling rivalry, old resentments, new irritations. We are quick to anger, slow to forgive. We would rather choose our relatives, than acknowledge the all-inclusive nature of your family. Open our hearts to your love, and show us the way of reconciliation. Teach us to see each brother and sister with your eyes. Help us claim our heritage as your own children, and live together in unity as yout family. Pray this with our Bahamian brothers and sisters and each other. The world church and beyond.
